Cockroaches carry bacteria onto food and surfaces, contaminate supplies and breed quickly. In a hospitality venue, a single cockroach can mean trouble with inspectors and guests. How to recognise cockroaches
- cockroaches scattering when you switch on the kitchen or bathroom light at night
- tiny dark droppings like ground pepper in drawers, cupboards and behind appliances
- brown egg cases in cracks and corners
- shed skins and an unpleasant, musty smell with heavier infestations
Cockroaches are active at night, so if you also see them during the day, the infestation is usually already large. If you are not sure what you have found, send us a photo on Viber or WhatsApp.
Where cockroaches hide
They look for warmth, moisture and food: behind fridges, cookers and dishwashers, under sinks, in kitchen units, around pipes and drains and inside appliance motors. In apartment buildings they move from flat to flat through pipes and service shafts, so the problem often comes back if only one flat is treated.
How we work
We eliminate cockroaches in 1–2 treatments, depending on the level of infestation, 7 to 10 days apart. The second treatment kills cockroaches that have hatched from eggs in the meantime. We apply approved biocidal products in a targeted way to where cockroaches hide and move. When the work is done, we issue a certificate of the service performed, valid for health inspections.
Restaurants, bakeries and food businesses
For food businesses we offer regular preventive maintenance contracts, prepare HACCP and ISO pest control plans and issue a certificate for the inspection after every job. We schedule the treatment so it does not disrupt your work. Besides cockroaches, we also protect premises from rodents – see our rodent control service.
How to keep cockroaches from coming back
- do not leave food, dirty dishes or waste out overnight
- keep food in closed containers
- fix leaking pipes and do not leave water in the sink
- seal cracks around pipes, skirting boards and kitchen units
